I am starting to see quite a few older XLII buses out there with the new round style headlight conversions. I have talked to Prevost in Nashville, Parliament in Clearwater, and Excaliber in Sanford. Prices are ranging from $4,500 to $19,000. Obviously the lower end of that range makes this upgrade an attractive option whereas the upper end does not make sense to me anyway. Has anyone out there had this done to their coach or seen one up close that has?

Doug at Excaliber did the ones on my 99 XL. Really like them. $4500.00, I think is a bit high, but I only know what had to be done to get them on my XL. Good Luck

Last years Keerville POG Rally, they were $2000.00 or less for the pair. 10 sets went for that amount.

I love my lamp upgrade. I had them done by Doug @ Excalibur during the POG IX Rally. Quite a few of us had them done.

I really like the extra light they provide over the stock headlamps.

IMO, well worth the money and the update look on the front of my bus will really take over, as soon as I can take off these darn stickers !

Who's fault is it that those stickers are on there?

Doug also did the lights on out 2001 XLII and they turned out real nice.

I had the upgrade done by Doug at Excalibur this winter. At his shop and I can pass along that a headlight adj and setting is included. Same color as coach and clear coat looks OEM. This is a important part of the upgrade as you really get the bang for your buck. The night driving is 110% improvement , high beams are just amazing. I like the new look and this was one of the reasons removing the front shield this week.

Another option is James at Xtreme Paint and Graphics in Texas (also a board sponsor). He make a kit that looks very much like the one Doug installs. I bought James's and did a self install. Everything fit well, and was easy to install and aim using the garage wall. Used 4 factory screws on each side. Plug and play electrical. He does use part of your original lamp unit for the hinge unit. Matched the surrounding color perfectly (I sent him the paint code).

$2500

Very satisfied customer.
