Heard on the street:

Charlie Meyers, president of Marathon Coach is leaving his position, buying the Marathon branch in Texas, setting up an independent sales facility there. It will be a dedicated Marathon operation with the existing personnel. There would be no apparent difference to customers. The move takes the shop from a company-owned branch to and independent dealership.

Like I said, heard on the street.

alot has to do with a suit Buddy Gregg filed challenging a Texas law that says an RV Builder cannot build and sell....something to do with it being unfair to independent dealers....a google search will show the suit papers and the Texas Supreme Court response.....this move or something similar was expected as the deadline was this month I think for Marathon to act.
