OK boys and girls, summer is coming and so is AirVenture in Oshkosh, WI. The plans are to once again go back to the private site and home of Marland & Pat Felker, located very close to the entry gate for AirVenture. The space will be limited, Mango will find out what the limit will be and it is dry camping at it's best.
http://www.airventure.org/
Jdub and Mango are suppose to handle all of this, but they're busy creating new jobs as Obama pointed out last night, Jon can't leave his garden and it looks like I have taken one for the team. So, Jdub and Mango will handle the reservation deal with Mr. Felker and I will coordinate the number of Poggers that plan to attend.
The date will be July 23rd to the 27th, that's Saturday to Wednesday and then most will probably head for the summer Rally at Hearthside Grove in Petrosky, MI. Here is the beginning of the list already started and I will continue to update as we move forward.

Hi Guys,
Talked with the Felkers and they are ready to host us again this year. As some of you are aware the entire event was a washout last year and the first bus that pulled in went right to their axles I'm told.
They have room for at least 13 rigs, perhaps more if there is interest. This is dry camping at it's best, with water available (via long hose) and the honey truck can be called to make a JDUB collection (fees apply). This space is perfect for the show as it backs up to the EAA Museum parking lot and you can grab the shuttle to the show. Quiet at night and a nice grassy area for sitting around the campfire-in-a-can.
Will post some photos later on when I get home from seasoning the Jerk Chicken.

Wild Bill,
Nothing much to add and I would imagine some folks will make the run over to Hearthside the same day as leaving Osh, while others will take their time and show up on Friday.
That's about all I know at this point.

There is an opportunity to shoot some clay targets not to far from Petosky on Saturday or Sunday afternoon. If anyone is interested I would gladly try and put something together for the group. Give me a head count and I will see what's up.

Just a reminder... be sure to come in with full water and empty tanks. The Felkers are on well water and we should not abuse the privelage.

Hey Truk - How 'bout bringing back some leftovers from Festival for those poor souls among us who are sitting home, looking at the pictures, and whining. Spoon roast will be just fine, thank you.
