The Windshield Deal Is Back!

I made hay with this deal a year or so back when I had to have both the windshields replaced in the XLII. This is a great deal if you have a busted one you need replaced, want to stock up on some for later or anticipate driving thru a gravel pit at top speed. This special runs until March 31st. Sorry for the running the prices all together, but it's spaced right when you type it and shows up on the forum different.

Norm Casson will take 4 of them if we can get some west coasters (I'm in Southern California) to commit to the other 6 so we can get the 10 unit price. I have 2 (yes I'm still in the TBC) XL's but you didn't state whether all 10 had to be the same part #. I'm at 661-538-1000

This is a Prevost special, so I would assume this is for all their service centers. But it just started, so if you got a quote last month, it is the full price.

I spoke with Prevost Elgin today, and they said that the quoted prices include shipping (from manufacturer in Ohio). I'll let you know for sure when my order arrives.

FYI, part # 491429 (fits 85-00 XL) shipped from a warehouse in a Columbus OH suburb, are made in China, standard package is five to a pallet. Freight was included in the price and delivery was overnight.

I had my drivers side windshield replaced last week. I did recieve the discounted price. Having been there watching the replacement process, I would not attemt to replace an XLII windshield . My broken windshield was very difficult coming out, it had to be pried out cracking and breaking up like peanut butter brittle. two guys one hour. 2nd, the new windshield are now made in China and have very tight tolerence measurements. 1 guy , 2 plus hours and a lot of sweat & fear of breaking it. This was with all of the tools available at Prevost and a scissor lift. They did do a great job.
