For the first time in months, the front bags lost air last night! I think I'll leave them down until it warms up. 28 this AM in Vero Beach.....

As of 5:56 AM EST here in Knoxville TN is is 12 degrees above F.

Certainly not a record breaker but for us it is cold because this time of year the average low is 32 and the average high is 50. We are not likely to reach the average low temperature today.

But the bus is warm and comfortable in its garage.

Well, this morning at 7AM the temp was 6 degrees, high wind warning for mtn tops wind here about 20-30 mph, Jon I don't know when I will get to Knoxville to get those stands. Should have taken my wifes advise and moved the bus to the coast during Thanksgiving, can not get out now and they are calling for snow on thursday and more on saturday maybe 8 more inches. when I do get out to Fla I might take a more easterly route I-40 to I-95 If they are in your way I will try to make arrangement for shipping, if not I will get them on my way back from Fla in April will call and let you know the date as soon as I can Thanks for getting them for us!

Gary,if you get out to I40 and can get to Greensboro,NC I 85 south is clear to Charlotte then on to I 77 to SC,but if it does snow a lot the temperature is so cold it might take a few days to clear,it was 12 here this morning.

You guys are wimps...it has been as low as -24F at my house in the past week. Only have about a foot of snow on the ground so far. My bus is in it's new warm garage, so I don't care..<G>

Hey Mike, It's pretty cold over here in Brooksville too. We had 23 for a low and 41 for a high. Normal highs should be in the 70's. Got just cold enough to once again take out all the green foliage by turning it brown. Put heat lamps on some of Karen's plants. Brought the orchards into the garage. This cold weather has even slowed down the Armadillo hunting.

Mark,

You've got us all beat. By the way Truk was thinking back fondly on his driving days and cold weather and reminded me of this Dick Curless song:

Though he likes that song he claims to have written this other Dick Curless song:

..............somehow I doubt it.

Knoxville is having an ice storm this morning. Supposed to melt off this afternoon. Right now I cannot even walk the 50 feet or so to my garage. I probably won't try to drive down the hill. I haven't seen a car go by on the road yet this morning.

It appears Skiffer has snapped once again! In the cold Maine months (9 out of 12) you'll find him still in his underwear at 11:00 am, feet up on the desk, staring out the window at frozen moose droppings with this glazed look in his eye:

Lows in the mid 50's, highs in the mid 70' here in the Houston area. Wonder if I should start planting my garden? Think I'll wait a few more days, we may get a cold spell!

Harsh Pete, very harsh....but true. Up here in the Hill Country we are a couple of degrees colder so it is not quite as nice, but I will take it.

O.K. you Texans. I'm sure somewhere out there a Snow Storm is headed your way.

Perhaps this coming summer when we are enjoying our nice moderate temperatures we can inquire of our Texan friends how they are enjoying their Saharan temperatures and arid conditions that turn their lawns to brown and melt their shoes to the pavement.

Perhaps. If we are not on the road.

That's right. Forgot northeners are snow birds, so you guys escaping the heat must be desert birds?

Jon, that's what we call a warm spell. Clears the mind and body! That's when we put our shoes on!
