This past weekend I decided to tackle a job I have put off for a long time. My gray and black tank monitors have not worked for a very long time. So I took it all apart and installed this system.

I also replaced three water valves, 2 had started a slow drip leak.
In the process of taking it all apart to install the new sensors I discovered that 2 of the sensors that go into the black tank had rusted completely away. I HAD 2each 1/4" holes in my black tank.
This was a full 2 day project.
About 4 hours to tear it all apart
8 hours to seal old sensor holes, install 3 new valves, install and test new sensors and clean up the bay.
4 hours to get it back together.
Still need to do a little work to tidy up a few wires and such. But the new tank monitors do work.
# 1 before work started
# 2 Torn apart
# 3 where old sensor had rusted away
# 4 new sensor, ( one like this on each tank)
# 5 New valves
