I just returned home from Kerrville The past two days I have felt a "new vibration". It is not bad as speed increases over 55 but seems worse at 40-50?

At speeds below 25 it feels like the whole bus is "shuttering" and "vibrating"???

Any ideas?

Thanks

Jamie

I would look at the u-joints in the drive train, or the transmission if it is worse under acceleration. Other options, loose wheel, engine mount, engine misfire, loose flywheel or bad tire?

Jamie, Does it change or stop when you turn off the dash air ?

Jamie, to expand on Steve's response please run your hands around the tires to insure you don't feel any uneven tread wear or what may be a tread separating from the body of the tire. Check your tire pressures to make sure one hasn't failed. Other than that Steve's list is a real good place to start.

Can you get a sense of where it feels the worst by moving around the coach to try to determine if it is in the front, rear, near the engine, etc?

I know from posts to this and Prevost-Stuff threads over the years vibrations are very difficult to isolate in our coaches so I hope whatever is happening is obvious so it can be fixed.

Look carefully at the radiator fan/gear box.

Sounds like a new bus would take care of the problem.

Jamie,
All things aside, see if you can find an alignment shop near you that can spin balance your steer tires on the bus.... maybe its just a tire balance issue.
