I tried but could not find a WW Grainger equivalent to the DC motors in the Webasto heat exchangers used on Liberty coaches.

But I did find a link to the site of the heat exchanger manufacturer.

http://www.rdac.com/index.html

I tried unsuccessfully to download the parts catalog. Maybe a computer literate POGGER could do that, but there are numerous distributors that will sell not only the motors, but all the parts.

Personally, I would like to order the heat exchangers without the noise option. I'm like Roger, in that I would run my Webasto more frequently, but I have to be hard up to want to tolerate the noise. I may go down to GA (wasn't that a song title?) and steal Tom's as long as he wants to rub our noses in his quiet Marathon system.

Jon: I guess we'll have to embark on a quiet the Webasto project. Soft neophrene Isolators under it. Rubber connections in lieu of metal connections to it. Heavy metal enclosuer with a noise eliminator air tunnel to it. Or find another small oil burning boiler to replace the whole damn thing. Food for thought.

We need to either isolate the motor, or slow it down because the noise from my heat exchanger is the fan and motor screaming at high speeds.

Do you think something is wrong when a converter can muffle the sound of a generator so we can't even hear it, but when we use a Webasto we have to turn the TV up to the maximum sound level to hear it?

The lady keeps her oil fired hot water boiler in the kitchen. It can be done.
Webasto tried to had to miniturize their unit. Expand the size a little and sound factor could be handled.
