Black box

Anyone have any idea what the "black box" might be? It's located outboard of the drivers seat. There are no name plates or description of any kind.

Tad any plug in ports for CB, Phone, Speakers or such? I looks to have speaker wires coming out or in to it besides the four colored wires.

Could it be a linear amplifier for your CB?

I would like to see a bigger/better picture and with the ends of the box shown. Funny how the wire colors are the same as what you would find on a brake controller, red-stop switch, blue out to trailer brakes, black-12v, and white ground. But they are small gauge from what I can tell from the small picture, and I'm looking at it from a 23" screen!

Do you have a surround sound for the tv? Does the tv use the dash radio for the speakers?

I found a switch labeled ring-tone but I cannot see how it could be part of the intercom or shore phone.
