Hi Dan,
I have a '94 with some slack in the wheel. I'm a new owner and am not sure if I'm not used to the slack or it's excessive, coach only has 94k miles. Did the new drag link help?
Thanks,
John Grissinger

You should be able to see if the slack relates to the drag link by checking to see if there is any play in the steer compartment and then at the axle area. Don't get under the coach without supporting it please.
If I remember (suffering from CRS) I will see if the manual has a spec on steering wheel free play. You also may be able to go to the Prevost site and access the shop manual for your bus to see if it is listed there. At 94,000 miles everything should be almost as tight as when it left the factory unless it hasn't been lubed properly.

Thanks Jon,
Sorry for the slow reply, I was checking messages and didn't know how to check links. So I looked myself up under members and checked threads started, is that the easiest way?
Anyway, thanks for your suggestions, my mechanic, Joe C, who also owns one says I'm just not used to it and that it drives fine. He also said I'm probably not used to the airbags in the front. So I'm taking it to Nevada this Sunday, should be used to it by then!
Thanks,
John
