We have friends in North Carolina that just put in three campsites at their property. If anyone is passing through or would like to have a spot for a day or so it is a beautiful location. All three sites are easy access, and Big Rig friendly. Each site has a full hook up with 50 amp, water and dump. The view is long range and the people are great. They call their place RV&B. Overnight stays include a complimentary breakfast in the main house. The location has wooded acreage for walks and hiking. It is Private and gated. Their names are Ken & Kathy Hayes. 828 524 8090. 1722 Hickory Knoll Road, Franklin, N.C. More info at NCRVANDB-cardinalridge.com

Thanks for the heads up Jim. Kathy fowarded me some pics of the place - very scenic setting. We may be able to work it into a few days stay in the area while on our way up to the Maine mini-rally this summer.

They are a delightful couple and very accommodating. If you work it in as a stop over you won't be disappointed. Eggs are fresh daily from their own chickens !
