I believe Foretravel built some 35'models in the '80s.

In the early 90's we were in a very upscale Prevost group, and one of the members had a 35 foot, single axle Liberty conversion. I think it was a mid or early 80's model. The gentleman lived just outside of Albany NY.

Jello,
I saw one at Chula Vista in 2008. It was from Oregon and had been converted by the owner. The owner built custom yachts so it was absolutely beautiful. I might have taken some photos of it. If I find them I'll try to post them later.

Jon, Surely, you are not saying, "this is NOT an Upscale Prevost Group?"

Dale, We ARE upscale. Unfortunately, unlike the other which is VERY upscale. Way back then when we went to rallies we literally had to have several suits or at the very least several sports jackets and ties.
Fat chance of that happening again.

Greg,
If that Prevost was from Oregon, I'd bet it was the one I saw in 2008 at Chula Vista. Sure looks like what I remember. Uh Wait a minute, what was the question?

Well this one was in Lake Havasu last weekend. I walked outside and looked and saw this and told the Good Ship Kelly Jo that this thing was not 40'.
Talked to the guy, who said that as far as he knew it was the only tandem axel 35 footer they made. It is a 79, and he claimed it had been made for the Canadian Broadcasting Company and had originally had huge cargo bays to hold cameras, booms and other specialty equipment.
Told him about POG, his reply was he had been too busy converting it to learn how to use a computer :)
Makes sense!
