Hello all,

Just wanted to let everyone know we will be moving to Panama City, Florida later this month, and will be staying (next 3 years) at Emerald Coast RV Beach Resort. I would like to extend an invitation for all to come by for a visit. Who knows, maybe hold a POG rally there? :)

Wow, we have alot of family that live in Panama City Beach. You'll have to tell us how you like the resort once you get settled in.

We've been interested in trying Emerald Coast RV Resort for a new "destination", too! Please do report specifics when you can!

This place is AWESOME! All paved roads and sites, level, landscaped, VERY clean everywhere! Everything works as it should, all sites 50a, water, sewer, cable, wifi. There is also a heated pool, hot tub, shuffleboard, playground, social deck, clubhouse, very clean laundry and bathhouses. So come one come all, you wont be disappointed!

That's great news. My son is stationed at Fort Rucker, and he frequently makes trips down to Panama City.

Right around the corner from you is The Treasure Ship restaurant. (skip it). It's a restaurant that looks like a huge old wooden ship. For tourist. But right next to that in that small Marina (north parking lot of the ship) is a seafood wholesale type place that has huge shrimp and other fresh seafood to go. They'll steam the shrimp for you to go for no extra charge. Also, you can get oysters on the half shell just about anyplace for $5-$6 a dozen. Port St. Joe is a big farm for those next door to PCB.

Better stock up on the seafood fast before the slick works it way down. Fill up the freezer !
