Subscriptions

In the profile section of the Forum there is a section called "Subscriptions". What are they, how do you used it and does anyone use them?

Actually I see the easiest way to them is from "Settings"

Subscriptions are used if you want to get an email notice of posting to either a specific forum, or specific thread. If you have a forum you always want to know if someone posts to it, you subscribe to the forum itself. If you have a really interesting thread that you want to be emailed when there is a post, you subscribe to the thread.

Thanks Ray. I got a call from Jim two minutes after posting explaining how to use it. It's good that you wrote it out for others, but then I could have been the only person in the dark.
