Hello everyone.Florida finally turned into florida, the worst winter i have ever spent in florida. I hope someone can share any secrets to remove those hard water spots from the side windows. Any help would be appreciated.

Mike, There was a recent thread entitled Metal Wax that discusses the problem. Suggest you enter Metalwax and/or water spots in the search box above and you will get more information than you ever wanted. The ONLY product that really works is Metalwax Cleaner. Good luck.

I know it sounds scarey, but I use 000 steel wool with water/vinegar in a spray bottle. Works great...

The "Tips on how to remove mineral deposits from glass windows" that came with my Metalwax says to use the yellow metalwax with 0000 grade steel wool.

Mike, I use a Watkins product called Creme Cleanser #06790. It works very well and easy to use. I bought mine at an FMCA convention some years ago. I see that it is on this price list:

I use Bon Ami cleanser - it also works great on your windshield when your wipers are chattering... You can find it in the grocery store - it looks like this
