Now that we are about down to the nut cuttin, who is actually going to attend POGDOS? We need to know where the eunochs are and who got a kitchen pass.

Rae and I will be there with our MangoWear and assorted bling free items.

Jerry,
Last time I checked, we are the Right Coast. Looking at I 10 you would take a Right, I guess I would say the correct coast is a better way to put it.

23 Coaches now confirmed. There are two reserved spots left. Karen Brown at Santa Fe Skies told me today that there are no open spots the night before; on the 10th. Two members have reserved spots on the 10th but she said it would be difficult to add any more on that date as there will be people leaving on the 11th. Call Karen at: Toll Free: 1-877-565-0451 Local: (505)473-5946 to see if she can squeeze you in if you plan on coming in the night before.

Jerry,

Your one on of the reasons I'm in this to start with. I was just being respectful to one of the OSU Cowboy greats.
Don't blame me if a brand new Liberty BLING MOBILE parked next to you in the RV parking lot!

I told Jon this was exactly the reason I wasn't going to post. I knew it would start something just like this.
Okay, pick on the newbie and rub it in cause he doesn't have a BUS YET!!

BTW I liked your scooter pictures. GETERRRRRR DONNNE

Jerry Winchester
09-11-2006, 11:12 PM
The funny thing is, I store my scooter in a Liberty. It just gets delivered to where I am in the Mothership. Is this a great country or what?

MangoMike
09-12-2006, 08:41 AM
Uhhh, Jerry. About your scooter, under the Liberty, not in the Liberty.

OK Nav...Listen up.

First, OSU is a real school and they are called Buckeyes.

Don't butter up JW. Its a waste of time because he will zap you if he gets a chance.

And finally, are you nuts joining up with this bunch of bus drivers?

Come to the rally and find out what everybody is really like. You don't need a bus. It will be a good education as a newby because you will be able to see a lot of coaches with owners that don't appear reluctant to say what is on their mind (those that still have a mind). Then when you talk to dealers, converters and owners about their coaches that are for sale you will be able to filter out the BS.

Jerry Winchester
09-12-2006, 04:14 PM
Man Jon, that is way harsh. Have you been taking some of Lew's medicine?

I too encouraged Tim to come to Santa Fe, if he can get a kitchen pass, and enjoy being ridiculed in person. Jon is much mellower in person because he goes to sleep early, gets up with the chickens and rarely is without whatever tool you seem to be in need of.

I will be stocking up on parts for the hands on sessions at the rally. I hear there is also a bus polishing demo that will be limited to non-Liberty coachs. You can't get those Libertys too hot or "poof" they just combust.

Jon Wehrenberg
09-12-2006, 09:18 PM
Now that remark about Libertys was way harsh.

The real fact is they are so shiny they don't need additional polishing. No joke: If you park a car with plastic bumpers next to a coach and the sunlight hits the stainless just right it will melt the car bumpers in a path showing the sun's travel as it reflects from a Liberty.

Moral of the story is if you don't want to melt you Honda Element fenders and bumpers park next to a Royale.

Jon is recognized as one of the more qualified mechanic types. I must thank him for several informative posts that have furthered my bus education.

That said, Jon, USC is a real school and they are called Trojans !!

Jon Wehrenberg
09-13-2006, 07:06 AM
No disagreement about USC being a real school, but there is one among us that thinks a little school located in one of the less populated US territories is a real school.

They even went so far as to take the initials of a real school to try to get credibility.

Gary, the plan as it stands at the moment is to leave the Orange/Anaheim area around 9AM on Monday. We are scheduled to spend the night in Kingman at Blake RV Ranch.

Ken is meeting us (coming from a different direction) at the Pilot Truck Center, just over the pass in Hesperia. It's a guess, but I would put us there around 1030A (assuming we get out on time)

You are certainly welcome to join us. The more the merrier.

Mike,

I am almost afraid to ask what a NOOB is?

I have been to rallys before, but I think that this will be one to remember.
Does anyone ever get arrested? I can't wait until October. Could we move it up to the middle of September? I'm so excited I can't sleep. My wife tells me to calm down, but I can't! If everyone in FMCA finds out how much fun you guys are; membership in POG will explode! I never dreamed that Prevost guys would be so much fun. Of course, I realize that you guys are not the average - run of the mill - RVer. This is the A Team!

I can't wait any longer, I leaving for Santa Fe tonight!

Maybe a little older.

Not quite as slim.

But as you can read from his posts he is certainly as suave.

Jon Wehrenberg
09-14-2006, 09:41 PM
OK, for all the virgins out there that haven't yet been exposed to this group of sickos let me tell you what meeting them for the first time will be like.

They are just like they appear here. Take that for what it is worth.

The difference between a POG rally, and any other rally you are attending for the first time is enormous. We may not know the faces (except for publicity hounds like Mango and JDUB), but we will know the names. For the first day we will be trying to mentally tie the Forum name with the real name with the coach. By the second day everybody will be fixing Mango's coach or Jerry's Aquahot.

By the third day we will be wondering when we can get to gether again.

Since the first rally almost everybody has gotten together with others from the first rally at least once. I don't have any reason to doubt the same thing won't happen again.

MangoMike
09-14-2006, 11:00 PM
Tuga,

I really like your enthusiasm. You probably have over expectations of this Rally so listen to your wife. These guys aren't half as cool in person as they appear on the forum (with the exception of Lew). Their forum responses are quick witted and smack of intelligence. In reality, like a good politician, they all have speech writers and spin meisters working feverishly in the background to make them look good. The benefit of delay responses to posts.

As a back up, bring a good book to POG just in case. Or donate some Lewbucks to get him to join us.

You will have a great time, these guys are nuts, but their better halfs make up for their shortcomings. Here is a picture of POG 1, they bought me a bi-plane ride just so I would come to the Rally, but then made me park with the SOB's cause I didn't have a Liberty.

Would I miss another POG Rally, NO WAY!:D

NOOB is short for Newbie, but since we were all NOOBs in the spring, you aren't too far behind the curve.

The biggest fear I have about POG 2 is all the stuff the A holes stick to your coach over the week. For sale signs, crime tape, lais and assorted items. I have a sack of retaliatory items. The only safe part is Ben will be somewhere else. He has a sick, devious mind so spar with him at your own risk.

First time I saw Lew, I said, "I thought he'd be taller". Turns out he just has a long butt crack, so it was an optical illusion.

Since the first POG guy I met was Jon (in the rest stop on the Florida Turnpike), I was sure I was in the presence of pure analness. I didn't know it was "award winning" analness.

I'll save the MangoMike stories for the rally. People would pay to hear that crap.

And I want to get Mick liquored up for some Roger smack.

Jon Wehrenberg
09-16-2006, 07:34 AM
I don't know how the rest of the folks you named feel, but I almost take that last post as a challenge to see just how much stuff can be hung or pasted on your coach before the rally is over.

You crossed the line with that post because you reminded the sickos from POGI about their duty to deface other coaches, and you just taught the new folks (who will become sickos) to load up on goodies to place on your coach.

For all who need specific information: Winchester's coach is a Royale, gray in color, with stars on the sides. I believe if we all plan on papering it we can have it pretty completely covered by the last day of the rally. Some suggestions: Crime scene tape, flags, for sale signs, wanted posters, floral decorations, old ties, leis, Ohio State banners, Cessna photographs, etc.:D

Mango,

Nance and I will be at the Balloon Fiesta until Monday the 9th. If you can get in, we'll see if we can stay another night. We're in the VIP West Parking next to the launch field. The number for the park is 505-821-1000. You should be able to get in, seems like the middle of the week is not as busy.

If you get delayed, we can pick up Mrs. Mango and bring her to POG.
