Dan,

Bank of America in Miami thru E-RV loans did ours and it was pretty easy. There may be cheaper rates, but I don't think we paid but 20%. There is lots of money out there looking for a home........

Do you need a personal or comercial lender?

DANSS,

Have you tried "Recreational Vehicle Products", aka "RV Lending Tree". This company has financed the last 2 busses we have had with good sevice.
Kevin Marsh is the owner. Give him a call at 1-866-788-7331. There have been others on the P-S forum that have used Kevin. Just tell him you are friends of Jim and Chris, "Coloradobus." :) . Kevin with finance with the Montana LLC in mind.

You need to call Fast Tommy Spirito in Clearwater, Florida: Phone is 727-578-5035, cell 727-698-3096.

You will be driving your bus sooner than you thought.

As JPJ said, call Tom in Clearwater, FL. I just (within the past 30 days) financed my bus thru Tom and the service and interest rate were excellent. He will finance with the ownership in a Montana LLC where many institutions will not.

Dan,
Just a heads up with the Montana LLC. I got it done, but it was a real challenge due to the Prevost Chassis date. When the Montana DMV keys in the VIN number, they get the Chassis date, not the conversion date. I had to submit a Police Inspection in order to get mine registered as a 1997 and not a 1996 (chassis). Marathon even tried to help me out, but the DMV would not budge without the report. It was no problem, I just showed the Deputy the previous title, he verified the VIN and that was it. Montana has there own form you must use.

I suggest using one of law firms in Montana instead of just using one of the many service providers that advertise.

Dan,

Tom is right about using a law firm.

These guys are great and had the LLC and plates within a week. No hassel.

Just reviewed our past and present coach registration info. Our previous coach was listed as 2002 in its papaerwork ('01 shell) and the current coach paperwork (with an "X" with the VIN indicating a 1999 shell) shows the coach as a 2000. No problem here with Missoula County thru Bennett's office.:)

Some of these threads are a bit dated - wonder if terms are as they were in 2006. I know lenders requirements are more detailed. I found a link to Tom Spirito: looks like his rates are running 5.75% for 15-20 yr.
