Hi Jimbeaux,

I see that you live in Mandeville, LA. I live in Houma.

Give me a call and maybe we can visit on the phone or have lunch one day.

I own my coach personally. I choose not to use a Montana corporation because there has been some problems in Colorado and California with the authorities questioning the non payment of sales taxes. Whether or not other states will follow suit - who knows? I would pay the tax and sleep at night, just my opinion.

A friend of mine who lives in Colorado received a registered letter in the mail from the state of Colorado DEMANDING the full payment of sales tax on his Newell. The state of Colorado valued his Newell at $500,000 ( it was worth about $150K at the time) plus penalty, interest, etc. The letter stated that if he didn't pay the total amount in full that his motorhome would be confiscated! He called and pleaded with the powers that be and got away with a fine and he paid sales tax on $150K X ??%. He was thrilled with this outcome. He disolved his Montana corporation the next day. If you would like his name and phone number I will send it to you via PM (with his permission).

They are very serious about sales tax collections and Montana corporations!

Just thought I would pass it on.

Hey Jimbeaux, I think Jim C. has a paint brush and floating trowel with your name on it, so be careful when you go over there? :D
