At OKC Ron Beverly offered to set us up with parts ordering if you had a Prevost account number. Well, I got set up, ordered the part, no phone calls and it worked slick. Part came right on time, followed by the Invoice exactly as stated on the parts order.

Tom, I also called Ron and asked to be set up. Did they mail the info to you? Since we're still on the road and I haven't heard from Prevost, was wondering what the procedure is to order parts.

Brian,

I e-mailed Ron as he instructed with my account number and they e-mailed me back the password. I was lucky and had the part number on hand, not sure I could yet navigate through the Cat Base. I played a little with it and kind of got lost real quick.

Here's his e-mail address: ronald.beverly@volvo.com

PS - Do you remember having a Prevost Maintenance Manual for the Green Machine, I have the Parts Manual, or is it covering mole holes in your yard?

No stinkin' paper manuals Tom, used em to sop up sheep dip. Real men use Catbase. The newest version has the mtc manual integrated with the parts diagrams, very cool.

What happened to the Prevost line of clothes? That tired truck from Lyndhurst N.J. hasen't been around the last few rallys and there is nothing on the prevost web site anymore.

They havn't had the "Boutique" for a couple of years now. I'm hoping that they will bring it back. Maybe it will be dual branding: Prevost/Volvo???

I've looked on ebay for clothes to no avail.

Prevost Gear was almost non-existent at the first rally we attended. I really wanted to see a selection of hats - they had one style, dark blue with PREVOST in white lettering. What I'd really like is a license plate frame that says, "I'd Rather Be Driving (top line) My Prevost Car (bottom Line)."

Hey Jon can you make that happen too?

Sorry for diverting back to the thread but was wondering if anyone has a the new Catview program. With it you can enter your vin number and the parts will be exclusive to your bus as it was delivered to the converter, including all ordered options and paint scheme. It also has the capability of integrating the service manual with the parts manual. I saw it work at a Prevost authorized vendor. It's very cool. Am not sure if it is even available to us but the more of us that ask for it, the better our chances of obtaining it.

Thanks, Bill, Ron and Prevost Service Management in advance. :)

I have that version of Cat, but I've never seen where I can enter my vin # to display parts specific to my bus? Does anyone know how to do that?

Dale, just after you open the main software, you will have what looks like a bus ICON on the left side of the page, click on this icon, and it asks for your 17 digit VIN #.

Having spent a lot of time in the past week on Prevost online manuals, etc, I would really appreciate a copy of this. Thanks!

Thanks for the info Gary. When I click on the bus, I don't get the request for a vin #. I get a screen with "View" in the left corner and another box that says "Top Levels".

My disk says PA-1156 July 2006.

Jim, I actually called Ron and he took my info on the phone. Am assuming he's a very busy guy. Haven't received it yet.

I talked to Prevost today to return a faulty Norgren Coil (it lasted 1 week) and I asked about the latest Cat Base. He said no problem, a CD will be in the mail and it's the one where you enter your serial number and it narrows it all down to your specific year as Brian mentioned. He said it's much more user friendly.

Does anyone know how far back in years this Cat View CD will work? The Online stuff only takes years 2000 and newer.

Dale, the disk I have, and the one I sent out earlier to some of the guys, says PA-1156 PREVOST Version 33, but FEBRUARY 2009. The date code must be the problem on yours? Call Prevost and just order their newest version, their is no charge.

Greg,

My 94 is in Cat Base. It shows 1984 - 1999, E-630 through Y-7045.
