I recently got back from Sturgis (the huge motorcycle rally in South Dakota)
Went on the bike, the bus stayed home but I noticed a huge number of Prevosts in town. There must have been at least a dozen at Glencoe Campground.
So come on, fess up were you there?

Not this year, but you can count on us next!:p I'll bet it was hot, last year we almost roasted. What are you riding and did you make it to Full Throttle?

Here's a pic of our Springer:

Maybe we can hook up with some fellow POGers at next years rally!
Any suggestions for the best place to park the coaches?
Hot? not bad, 90s during the day high 50s at night.
Long distance bike of choice is an 06 Roadglide, even so my butt is still getting over the 750 mls from Nebraska to Dallas on Tuesday:eek:
Oh yes we made it to The Full Throttle and to The Broken Spoke, Saloon # 10, etc but my first choice is One Eyed Jack's.
Nice Springer!

There is a large group of bikers that belong to Bussin' Bikers. I think that's the name.

Even the converters go to the rally around Sturgis time.

Tom, Nice springer....is that an Indian? Do you employ a lift, closed trailer, or open style bike trailer when you take your bike? My DJ partner wants to bring her HOG to a future POG event.:p Ken

Ken,
Mrs. DJ looking pretty good on that bike, better keep an eye on her.:D My Springer is a 2001 Harley Heritage. We have a 6 X 10 enclosed trailer that we pull with the bike. It's big enough to handle the one bike and all the crap I carry with it. I can't convince myself that it's OK to hang about 1,000 lbs. on the back of the bus, so I like having the trailer. The trailer also makes a nice garage for the bike when camping. I installed jacks on the rear so you can ride the bike into the trailer when it's unhooked. If I bought another trailer, it would be one of the V noses that would give more clearance in tight turns.

Now all she needs is a sidecar to put your butt in!

Is anyone taking their HD's or other bikes to POGII? We are taking ours in a enclosed trailer.

Truk, We took your advise and purchased the vee nosed MC trailer with the wheel chock as well as D rings. I have ordered the spring loaded stabilizers to install at the rear of the trailer. Ellen got her new Road King Classic with the 96 engine.:D

Ellen, you look good sitting on top of that Road King Classic with a 96 cubic inch engine under you. Just take some time off now and head that thing west!

Wow, you guys did it up right! Tell me how you like the engine and tranny, they also said there is 30% less pull on the clutch lever. Great looking King, can't wait to see it. I have a friend who is buying my springer, so I picked up a 2002 Standard just to ride until I make the next move. Real interested on how everyone likes the new generation.

Here's a pic of the standard..

GEEEZEE: First it was Airplanes now it's Harley's. Is anyone into busses?

Lew it's too bad your not coming to POGII, we could bring our Camels and Burro's. There's lots of hills in that area.

Just being jealous. Next year I'll bring my Hot Rod Truck if I ever get her done..
I hope you youngins have all the fun you can before you catch up with Lew and I age wise.
