I'm gonna bring a couple of items to OKC:

1. Pro-Link Reader for DDEC 1 and 2 (with square plug). Might read newer, but I'm not sure. I've used it a few times on my older bus. Works fine, allows you to read engine parameters, error codes, and reset codes, etc.

2. Roadmaster Even Brake system - Purchased new ($1000) when I didn't know which vehicle I would permanently tow. Works fine. Has transmitter for car, which tells unit in bus whether or not brakes are on. Proportional breaking. With extra transmitters, you can move this from car to car as needed. Needs no invasive installation on coach. You do need to wire in +/- 12V and a wire to your brake lights (I tapped in right at my brake pedal)

If anyone interested, let me know. I'll bring to OKC.

Mike,

Guess I used the wrong terminology. The cylinder inside that pulls out and gets cleaned is what I may need. Last time mine was apart, I noted that it wasn't nice and round, as it should be. It's not bad, doesn't smoke, but I'm sure the flame isn't as uniform as it could be due to the slight out-of-round distortion.

Thanks,

Paul

Tom or Jim,

Tom, you were first, so you have first right of refusal on the reader. Make me a reasonable offer when you see it. Make sure it works on your bus first.

I tested it on Steve Bennetts '92 a couple of weeks ago, and it was still working.
