This is the VIN # for the unit we are looking at:
2PCW3349661028815

I read this as a 2006 chassis. Correct or not?

Also, can one obtain any further info by using the VIN, such as line setting ticket or build sheet, whatever Prevost calls it?

Thanks in advance for any info....

Mark

Mark - You are correct - Model year of the shell is 2006 - Prevost can give you any information you want, such as outstanding service bulletins, with the VIN#. Prevost's unit # is the last 4 digits, 8815.

Ken

How does one go about getting the contact info for the proper person or department at Prevost to get this information?

Any info is appreciated.

Thanks, Mark

Mark,

Call Bubba at FT Worth Prevost at 1866-773-8678 and tell Rosy when she answers you want to talk to Bubba in service about coach service history.

If i don't get a response to my email I will do this. The coach is near there at a dealer, so they may have seen it or done work on it in the past. Hmmm...I may call them to see if the dealer has had it in for anything.

Thanks...

I got the build sheet this morning. Fast turn around for sure. Very good service!

I asked about warranty and he refered that to another person who is supposed to call me.

Now that is the kind of service that we wish we got from everyone!

Here's a tool that is useful. I put my bus VIN in it and it even had the correct info on that.

Interesting - it didn't work with my VIN#! It returned the message "The VIN entered is unrecognized. Please check your entry and try again." :(

I tried multiple times after double checking to insure that I had entered the correct numbers, all with the same error result. Oh well...

It didn't work on the one I put in either. Maybe a model year issue of something......

Hmmmm, I book marked it anyway to use on cars, motorcycles and other stuff. Haven't tried a hull number on a boat yet.

Good thing I effected my short posting practice I've been working on that wasted one.
