With my newly installed trace working so wonderfully, I was REALLY surprised last night to turn off the genset about 11pm, and run only on the house all night. I have a resi fridge, had some fans, limited lights, a little tv...you know. Actually got up about 8:30 and started the genset...but the battery meters were still at or above the 24v reading.

Is that about what everyone else sees...you can go an easy 9+ hours overnight with no issues at all? I was just never able to do this on the inverter and batteries...so, am curious.

The few times I've boondocked, I've had no problems going all night, running normal stuff. Never tried with A/C however. If it hadn't gone all night, I would have been looking for the problem ...

That is about what I have been experiencing. I have cruisairs as aux ACs. I can run just the one for the stateroom, minimize everything else and not have the genset crank until about 9:00 am.
