I have two Trace SW 4024 inverters and it appears from my look and that of the service technician that some form of arc in the wiring connections may have fried one of them. It now appears that his source cannot repair the inverter. Anyone know of a repair center in southern California or where I might get another inverter (same model)? Xantrex website says this model has been discontinued.

Also, do a search on this site for inverter repairs. several of the members have posted information.

Richard:

I am not at home and do not have my usual list of links. However, If you take a look at some of the home solar system integrators, many of them have reconditioned and used 4024's available.

It has been a few months since I saw this, but they were there at many sites when I looked.
