So, we're at Gulf Coast RV Resort in Beaumont, Texas for tonight and we're making reservations for a two night stay further along down I-10.

We're talking to one of our favorite spots in the Texas hill country and asking for reservations for a couple of days....no problems, glad to have us.

Then they ask "so, what kind of RV do you have?"

Answer: "45 foot Prevost, towing a Jeep"

They ask "Is that a fifth wheel?" :eek:

Answer: silence.... then "uh, no, it's not a fifth wheel....it's a bus"

They say "OK.... "

Looks like they will have us anyway...:D

Be sure to take advantage of the free breakfast at Gulf coast RV Resort. They have pre-measured waffle mix and the waffle iron is in the shape of the state of Texas. Kind-of-cool and very tasty! Really friendly people.:)

You're exactly right. Every time we pass through this part of Texas, we make it a point to stop here.

I've already got my alarm set to be up and ready for the waffles tomorrow morning :)
