I was out trimming the pine trees at the entrance to our driveway, getting ready for Jerry and his family to arrive tomorrow. I trimmed them back so now there is 103 inch clearance, that should give him enough room to get in. :)

I sure hope that is not going to be a typical OKC site. Looks like full suspension travel will be required for leveling, and even then it might not be enough.
I'm bringing my 2 X 10 Winnebago leveling blocks.

We will bring the pea-gravel in case extra traction is needed to make the grade. We will have our tire chains on board, and the new Jeep has a winch. We can use JDUB's bus as an anchor point:D.

Well Jerry and his family stopped by last night. They arrived around 3:30pm. I put them in the full service spot that we have here. It has 120v power, no water, no sewer.

Dale: Do you need me to send you some food? How about just some food stamps?

This place needs to go on the POG "Not to be Missed" list. We had a great visit and dinner with Dale and Jan. And it was a great cross country drive thru some picture perfect Kansas and Nebraska farm country.
And I think our dog Skipper had the best time of all. Between the endless running and the rib bones, she slept all the way to South Dakota.
Dale really has a beautiful place and as he says, "Its all about the network". And he has this Green Acres deal going with the cell phone service. If you stand on his porch and face south with the phone over your right ear, you get about 30 seconds of cell reception. At least we didn't have to climb the pole.

Not any more. At least not any more virgin sheep.

Great pictures Dale. I'll bet everyone had a great time. Did you let JDUB ride your Harley ? I didn't think so !:D
