Question, How many of you are interested in purchacing a Rescue 2000 booster? I have talked to Scott the owner of a business that sells them and if we can get a order together we could have them at a reduced rate. We could have them shipped to OKC in Oct. or to everyone and the freight would be a little more.
Let me know what you think.
Look under quick links, then Dale's Map, then Tools.

It's a heavy duty battery pack for assisting in starting a vehicle when the battery is low. Can be used to assist with starting the bus or generator.

I just picked up a device called a Rescue 2000. It's a portable jump kit that can handle 12 and 24v applications. My coach was sitting on 4 pretty dead chassis batteries...it fired it right up.
Got it through Batteries Plus...and it was only ~ 140$. I'll carry it always.

The last posted price on a website is $186.00
If we get a discount I'll post as soon as I find out.

So----- with this unit I could be up and running instead of being dead in the storage building. However-----how does one deal with the alternator now having to work so hard and overheating or other wise shortening it's life, to bring the batts. back up to full charge? This all in reference to my post to jump starting the bus.

ok...ok...i've been on the road and out of touch! :)
Yes...I have one...and yes...it's the coolest thing in the world. It has both a 12 and 24v setting so you're not limited to bus starting only...but it's a tool I'll never again be found without!
:)
