Hey POGgers,

Passed by this place last week and thought you would get a kick out of it. Sure saves on the archetechtural fees!! There are dining tables set up inside. Don't have a clue where the kitchen is. Hey MM, I can see this as a jerked chicken outlet.

So don't keep it a secret, where is this place?

We want to go someday!

Good Lord..

It's a dollar nineteen.....arguably the worst airplane ever built. (also affectionately known as the "crowd killer" and the "widow maker") You take your life in your hands just looking at it, by all means, stay out of the inside :D

I've never flown one, but spent many hours in back end and they are noisy. maybe that's why I cant hear my wife talking!:)

Peter,

You know I can't just tell you, you have to figure it out. First clue -- Imperial

jello,

Right on. This restaurant was right near the entrance to Manuel Antonio National Park, about 80 km south of Jaco, on the Pacific side.

Pura vida!!!

BTW,

Imperial is to Costa Rica what Corona is to Mexico. If you happen to stumble across it in an adult beverage shop, pick up a sixer, I think you'll like it.

Speaking of Costa Rica, anyone ever hear anymore from Doodlebug....last I heard he was in Puerta Viarta recovering from hot brakes, hasn't logged on in almost a year.....

Looks almost like a "baby" or "Mini Me" C-141 recently retired by USAF....overhead wing etc.

Joe C.

We flew a small airline called TACA. Going down we flew LAX - Guatamala City (did not change planes, did not even get off plane) - San Jose, C.R.. On the way home we flew San Jose - Guatamala City, everyone had to get off the plane, go through securtiy again, had all the liquid stuff confiscated that we bought in the duty free shop in San Jose, got back on the same plane and flew to LAX. What a racquet, what a pisser!!

Ken,

You shouldn't have signed up unless you couldn't take a joke!! TACA is OK, well sort of............... Guatamala blows big wind...don't go there on anyone....that's a place to be overflown. Costa Rica, hell we are all going to end up living there, Beleze is a bit nicer but too much money.

Hangar Man...that's a C-119 or a C-123, no real difference...both built by Fairchild, both deathtraps. Both junkers...been there/done that:D

I thought the dollar 19's had two tail booms and clam shell rear doors. I remember jumping out of them in '66 in jump school.
