I read instructions in a post of how to check the oil in the Prevost Dash air conditioner compressor, but using the search feature is 'tough'. Is the oil level supposed to be level with the side drain plug? Does anyone remember the post? A gentle reminder of the post is requested.

Our dash air is powered by the large 6 cyl 10 ton carrier OTR unit. There are T's in the lines in the condenser bay and a second "loop" is created.

I was unaware of any compressors other than this large one that were installed by the factory.

Do the newer buses with OTR a/c have this smaller compressor in addition to the large one or are only the buses without OTR a/c equipped with them?
