For those who were at POG II Santa Fe, may remember our Airstream B-Van. We have found another Airstream we can't live without.

We aren't using our 1997 Ford E-350 Airstream Class B Van for its intended purpose., Its now for sale. It has 75,600 miles on it driven. It has 2000 miles towed. It has a Remco Driveshaft Disconnect for towing 4 down. It has a RoadMaster baseplate and can utilize a Blue OX towbar with the added MX adaptor.
Interior is all new leather, chassis fully serviced ( Fluids, belts, hoses, tires, wheels, new genset and other new stuff.) We need to reduce the pack to fit the new acquisition in the barn. Any interest in what we call our RV Dinghy, call for into. When the coach is too large, use the RV Dinghy! Drop us a line.

I see no reason why you can't flat tow the new Airstream 270 behind your Prevost just like you did with the Bvan!

I know you guys know the story, when did Airsteam stop making those RV's? I've seen several around and the owners always want a premium for them.

Airstream started with the Argosy motorhome as a precursor to an Airstream MH is the 1970's. Very late 1970's the Airstream motorhome appeared. They were built in various sizes from 25ft (the 250) up to 37ft (the 370) with many length in between. 250 270,280, 290, 300, 310, the longer ones had tags,-- 32.5, 34.5, 350 and 370.
The 370 was on a gillig chassis with a Ford 460 motor. The rest were on chevy P-30 chassis with 454 and turbo 400 tranny.
In the mid '90's Airstream tried a Classic 360 on a Freightliner chassis with a Cummins in the rear. They only made 15 of these. The 345 is the most popular now you see for sale. The smaller ones are rare, being the 250 (25ft), they only made 50 from 1989-93, and 5 of them are in Europe.
Airstream stopped making the Classis aluminum coach in the mid 1990 in lieu of fiberglass boxes with motor at either end depending on chassis.
They no longer build a Class A, now only use the Sprinter one ton in the form of the Interstate Class B.
Our 270 was a find and we really bought it right. It was a "barn find" in every sense of the word word with only 31,000 documented miles on it when we drove off the farm in Bowling Green Ohio.
It is all original and complete and the interrior is just like new. Absolutely unbelieveable!!!
