$1.77 at flying J in Sioux Falls, SD. They also had a warm water spigot in back that they let me fill up with. (Yes, it was potable.)

At that price, I was wondering if anybody has a suggestion as to how I could get a good seal around some 55 gallon garbage bags... to keep the fuel from leaking out. I was thinking of lining up the bags in the living room. (from the bathroom back through the kitchen too if I have space.) I figure a good twist tie should do it.

Have you considered just caulking the door and walls and just filling it to the bottom of the windows?

Adam, I would get some of those metal cans and weld them shut.

Ooooo!!! I'm driving through there in a couple of days. That'll give me time to devise a storage plan :-)

Just fill a trailer with 55gal drums, or just seal it and fill it to the top. Of course you could always just empty your water tanks, that should double or even tripple your fuel capacity. :)

Hi Adam. Just hire a Dbl. Trailer tanker to follow you. No problem.
