I visited the facility at Twin Fountains yesterday.
JDUB and I are checking out the park and area today.

JDUB,
That looks like a sheep pasture just to the left of the sign!
I think I'll erect a perimeter fence to fend off those pesky midnight sheep attacks. After all, at my age I amy be able to put a price on the sheep, but my sleep ... priceless!
See ya'll in OKC this October.
Later ...

Where is the OKC Rally signup? I looked at the Rally section but didn't find a signup area.

What a great city! Jerry gave me the tour this morning and there is a lot to do here.
We'll be posting details in the near future and setting up some polls for group members to decide the best options.
-The park is located at a convergence of major highways.
-There are two truck washes within 2 miles of the park.
-Almost everything (activities) should be within ten miles of the park.
Some of the options we will be presenting:
*FAA Headquarters with atmospheric chamber.
*Working Oil Rig
*Tinker AFB Incredible facility with one mile long building doing a huge variety of repair on military aircraft.
*Sporting Clays at Silverleaf. (Remember the fun we had at Branson?)
*Cowboy Hall of Fame (Very close to the RV Park and very impressive.)
*OKC Historical
*OKC Federal Building Memorial
*Bricktown
*Remington Park
*Stockyards
*Zoo, Omniplex
*2 Casinos just south of town
*Rt. 66 Red Barn in Arcadia
*and a whole lot more.
We have quite a few things that are in the rigid agenda and we are really excited about a full day at United Engines where we will see a members coach from underneath and the workings of the engines and transmissions with a Q&A session involved.
We'll keep you updated.
Many sincere thanks to Jerry and Rae Winchester for spending time with me to take a look around the city and doing a large amount of groundwork before I even got here.

Skiff: Do you have firm dates for our OK rally established that we can get into our travel calendar. I was thinking it was Sept., but Will G said October, Please let us know ASAP. Thanks. Were at Beaudry's now and there is only one other Prevost on the site. It's going to be a slow year I'm afraid.

Skiffer,
Stockyards? Did you see any sheep? There must be a sheepyard since OKC is Jdub territory.

We have added an additional day to the OKC Rally. It will now be held October 2-8, 2009.
There is a lot to do and consider doing in OKC and the surrounding area so we will be polling members and asking them which activities and events they would prefer.

Jim,
You should have never mentioned stockyards........the excitement is brewing already...look at Truk, he's all jervous and nerky already. Better look at a 21 day rally with 20 at the stockyards admiring ewes!
