Ok, time for something besides problems and fixing things. Show me a picture of your bus in an uncommon but beautiful place.
Here is my first shot. I took this picture today, February 23, 2009. Sorry to have to report but the temperature was 80 degrees!
If you look at the mountains in the background you will see there is no snow on them.
Th picture was taken at White Sands National Monument, Alamogordo, NM. The white stuff is pure Gypsum.

Hey Jim Chaloupka, How about posting some pictures of your new Bus Garage with pictures of your Bus in this Thread. Perhaps some with snow. Several of us down here in Florida have talked about you and want to see what you are doing. This request of course is from someone that still can't post pictures !

These were taken at the Soo Locks in Sault Ste. Marie , MI.
Notice how the Great Lakes freighter is one of the few things which makes the bus look small.............

We boarded the ferry from Aransas, Tx and crossed over to the island @ Port Aransas. Very interesting being in a bus, towing a car on a BOAT. :)

Let's see if I can get these pictures up for once.
One is of my family and the bus in the redwoods. One is of the surprisingly warm temperatures while we were in Havre, MT last December. One was of the surprisingly low temperatures while in Titusville, PA last month.
Here are a few shots from our trip this summer. The first is the Badlands. The second is Devil's Tower.

A few more from the summer vacation. The first is just north of the Grand Tetons. The next two are from Scottsbluff. Notice JDUB's Sooner wagons in the distance.

Jim,
I could be wrong, and maybe its different where you are, but I thought the idea for a bus barn was to have the bus inside the barn. That way the nasty looking white stuff would not cover the bus! I don't even see any wheel tracks that would indicate the bus had been in the barn.
I guess if Diamonds are called Ice then we could call your Blink Mobile White Ice.

Yeah, I second Wills question, why isn't the bus in the barn? (poor thing)

That was the day he brought it home. First time up the drive in the snow misjudged the swing, cut it short, the drives on the port side went off the gravel and that is as far as he could get:D
I hate when that happens:o

I thought Eric and Deb would get a kick out of a couple of pictures of their bus. The first is with its old paint job at the John Deere Pavilion in Moline, IL. The second is at Texas Canyon, AZ at a rest area on I-10. Nice before and after shots.

Picture taken in Wilmington NC at the Battleship North Carolina Memorial. When you visit this site and find out the history of this fighting ship, then take a tour inside the ship, you come away in awe with a better understanding of just what "The Greatest Generation" really means. The ship is only here because of a statewide school children's campaign that contributed nickles and dimes back in the early 1960's to save the ship from the wreckers torch. Althought it is only a dull battleship gray it is beautiful in its own way.

I was looking close at photo of your bus, and I noticed nice corner lanterns on top of your bus.

Haze gray, the ship, or the bus? :)

Hey Yankee,
The bus is gray the battleship is glorious grey. The battleship also makes the bus seem very small parked there looking at it.
You are just up the road from it. Go for a visit. I think you will see from whence my sentiment comes. Let me know if and when you are going and I'll meet you there. I learn something new on each visit.
My avatar was taken from the battleship looking down on the bus, just at a slightly different angle.

We stayed at the Kitty Hawk RV park. It was the closest to where my daughter and son-n-law were staying. They were in Corolla. I would not recommend this park to any one. Sand-sand-sand everywhere and they put you right on top of people. Mostly weekend campers with trailers and mobile homes that have been there awhile. The managers were nice though!!

Yes. You need to camp south of Manteo. Roedanthe, Avon, Waves, Buxton. From Manteo to Corolla Light, no room for camping anymore. Too many McMansions shoulder to shoulder on the ocean front.
Kitty Hawk RV Park is one of those CGs wher they rent annual or seasonal sites. People place a travel trailer on a lot and use it as a disposable beach cottage. The year that Hurricane Charlie hit Florida, Florida was hit by 5 hurricanes. That same year , if I remember correctly, 3 hit western NC and 4 hit the outer banks.

These shots were made in Wind River Canyon (September 09) between Cody and Casper, Wyoming. The highway runs through several miles of this beautiful canyon.
