Pat Mitchell, wife of Parliament Coach Chairman Harvey Mitchell, passed away late Saturday evening at her home in Clearwater Florida. She had been fighting breast cancer valiantly for many, many years, all while continuing to work side by side with Harvey at Parliament.
Pat was responsible for most of the interior designs of Parliament Prevost conversions as well as Vogue conversions when the Mitchell family operated that company. Also, she was instrumental in the founding of the Parliament Travel Club chapter of FMCA and was serving as chapter treasurer. Along with Rosalind Lewis, Pat planned each Parliament Factory Open House and Travel Club rallies which many of you have attended.
Pat was as graceful and charming a woman as I have ever known and I will miss her terribly but I am comforted in knowing that her suffering is over and that she is at rest.
I believe a memorial is being planned but details have not been released. I will try to post those as they become official.
