NASA Discovery awaits launch date
NASA late Friday announced an indefinite postponement in plans to launch the shuttle Discovery on Feb. 27. The move permits more time to evaluate a cracked fuel valve issue that arose during Endeavour's November mission.
The two week assembly mission to the international space station had already been delayed three times. It was tentatively scheduled to lift off from NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida next Friday at 12:32 a.m., CST, until today's flight readiness review.
I guess it just wasn't meant that we would see this thing go.
