When the kids were little they had a book, "Where's Waldo." He was a little guy, tough to find.

But Jerry should be easier to find?

Man I have been to London, Algiers, Paris and back home today. Headed out to Calgary in the morning, but should get back by Saturday noon. I am tired of traveling, but OSH is on the horizon, so I will get recharged for that.

I can't think Mike and Jon have been behaving whilst I was gone........

Hey there big fellow, it's good to see you haven't defected (Not deficated) to the other side.

I'll have you know I took a chance and ordered a new coil for the Webasto because all else seemed to have power. I thought I would start collecting parts if that wasn't the problem, but.... the new coil worked and all is well. It was blowing some pretty good smoke out until the excess fuel burnt off. I guess I'm good to go now.[/B]

Lew,

That is surely good news. From our last phone conversation, I think you had about concluded that it was the coil, so I am glad it is working well.

No defications here. I got out of Muslim country just ahead of the Israilis whacking everyone in sight and I am going to slow down the international travel until September when I go to Arkansas. I hit 76,250 miles when I came in from Canada yesterday (from the beginning of the year), so between that and the 4,300 mile vacation, I am ready to sit in the pilot seat for OSH.

Jer,

Slow down big fella, we don't want to lose you. We need the ballast in the POG group.

So you're flying instead of driving to Osh.

That's always been the plan. I am going up in the Bonanza and the others will arrive in the coaches and park just across the road from us. That way we can talk plane smack until we get tired then talk bus smack until we need to whack Jon and then flip flop until we have solved all the problems.

Should be a fun trip. Mike and I will post photos so you won't feel left out.

JW,
I hate I can't make Osh, so lots of plane pictures please.:D Also, PM me your address, I forgot I promised you an autographed copy of Calvins Clinic while at POG1. If you have anyone in the right seat, a snap of short final would be great.

Do you have a bunk and shower facilities in your model plane?

You should be real ripe in 3 days, especially wearing the only t-shirt you own with POG on it.

No Lew, you got the POG shirt. They didn't have any man sized shirts. Only the real guy wannabe shirts.

I park next to this place. 40 showers. No waiting. No Webasto.

Lew,

Don't let him kid you - I've been there, done that. 40 showers w/ 685 sweaty airplane drivers rushing to get a shower so that they can have a cold one before they climb into the sweat box to sleep on the ground. Rae's a saint.

I think Tom said it best. Real men fly to Oshkosh. Now if I could just get someone to take my coach up there so I can stay in it all week....:o
