I believe I have failed in service to the Queen!

OK, it's not quite that bad, but I am remiss in posting this picture.

Just after New Years, Ken and Janet Zittrer and Kathy and I had the wonderful experience of meeting "The Queen", Doreen Orion and her husband Tim at Disneyland for dinner. Here is it almost a month later, and I haven't fulfilled my duties of posting this pictures.

Verily, I shall sloth no more!!

And so without further ado: "The Queen" :D

Kathy and I were lucky enough to see their bus. Very unique. If you've read Doreen's book, you'll remember that they started with a seated coach, and had it custom converted. A really nice job, but nothing quite like I've ever seen before.

All it all it was wonderful meeting Doreen and Tim. I just wished we would have had a little more time together.

It was lovely meeting the four of you. I'm going to do a blog post about how I've been lucky to meet so many of my online "friends" in person, but really, what have they done for me, lately? Ray got us into Disneyland!

Very early the next morning (waaaay too early for my Royal beauty rest, I assure you) we went to the Prevost place in Mira Loma for some routine maintenance. We had a good experience (http://www.doreenorion.com/blog/2009/01/we_get_lubed.html) and I thought I'd mention there were many, many repo seated coaches on the lot. (That link is to a blog post I did about our time there, including pics of those coaches.)
