Nancy and I were fortunate enough to be invited to "Jim the Tool Man Keller's" compound campground. It's the best POG stop in Florida, 50 amp and full hookup. Just be sure to get there before the King hog's the spot!:p

3952
Full hook-up spot (Brian, note the lack of snow)

3953
Entrance (after passing through a steel gate, envied by US border states)

3954
Mrs Truk, without crutches, being escorted by the Tool Man

3955
Nancy and Karen

Jim, The Keller Compound is a beautiful place. I'm wondering how you got karen to do all that landscaping? She must stay really busy mowing and pruning!!!!

Krakman,

Holy cow you've gone from a plastic shield to a bra? Say it ain't so.

Maybe it was just some shade on the photo.....

Can you believe it? I turn my back and there is a squatter on the throne at the Keller Campground Compound.

I must insist that the offending Liberty be evicted immediately. Such gracious host, hospitality, and beautful settings are fit for Royalty or Country Coachs only.

So there. Mr. Keller you will be hearing from me. I tried to call you back today, didn't get an answer- does this mean my gate pass is not valid?

Looks like Ms Truck is in good hands and I don't mean Allstates.

Beautiful settings there Jim, and Brian.

Tom, did you get a new camera for Christmas? Set the date, it,s not Feb. yet!

JIM :)

Jimmy C - Yep new camera that the King talked me into buying and I'll fix the date thing today!

Brian - Geez, now I feel bad after seeing your picture.

King - If you snooze you lose..

Jdub - Yep, front bra and I love it. I'll compare stainless front dimples with ya and my 15 year old bus will have less dings than your new glue on deal. By the way, have you noticed those little bubbles and water stains yet?:D Ya may want to consider this:

I guess we'll never know unless you put the bra on for travel and take it off when you get there every time. Why not just get a plastic shield? Come on Jon, jump in here for cryin out loud.

Next time you are following me down the road, I'll dispatch some of these......

Man, I miss Bugs Bunny/Roadrunner/Marty the martian cartoons on Saturday morning! You guys brought back memories. :)

Do you sissies also have the crunchy clear plastic covers on the sofa and chairs to go with the ugly fronts on your buses?

Between the spray on plastic goop, the snap on vinyl bra, and the cloudy plexiglass cow catchers a row of these buses in a campground will look like New Orleans after Katrina. Real class.

I forgot to mention, did you leave the plastic covering on the floors too?

Why not just quit driving the bus. After all isn't this about looks and not usefulness?

Jon - You just insulted Jdub, this is a pic of his couch at home!:o

Is there a way to vacume seal the entire bus so it will stay prestine forever? :)

Why not get pure white for the couch, if your going to cover it in plastic, it should be WHITE!

Tom
Jdub uses those plastic covers so he can save money on fabric spray refreshers, only needs air refreshers.

You sure won't find seats like that in a nudist camp.

I don't find the clear plastic covers that offensive. If you are of Italian descent you grow up knowing that any piece of upholstered furniture including automobile seats are dutifully covered with clear plastic covers. As you grow up in this environment you learn to sweat through different parts of your body so that you don't stick to your seat or your seat doesn't stick to your chair:).

Why to Italians like plastic on their furniture? I didn't see any on the Soprano's.

I am from Bayonne , New Jersey...Rick speaks the truth...and I am certain that Tony's Mom...had plastic covers on her furniture when " Jamie " Gandolfini was growing up in Park Ridge, N.J.:)...his sister Johanna was in our wedding and Mrs. gandolfini helped with the wedding reception....

Its a small world, Jim Gandolfini's Dad, 'Mr. G' as we referred to him was a long time customer at our Subaru Store before he passed away. Long before "Mrs. G" passed on and long before his son made it big in the Soprano's. I believe Johanna helped him when he purchased his last car from us. We even sent flowers when he passed away. We did not however put plastic covers on the seats of his Outback wagon.

Dale, Sorry I couldn't respond. I was removed from the Site for a couple of days. Something about non-payment of my subscription. Mr. Skiff hooked me up and I'm back on. Karen said to tell you she has worn out three sets of Knee Pads working and weeding !

JIM KELLER

Tom and Roger, Don't fight. There is room for both of you at the same time. Roger, your " Gold " Gate Pass Key is still valid. Come on down !

Jon Wehrenberg

Well I'm from Secaucus and I can tell you this seat cover business ain't an Italian thing. Both my grandparents had plastic on everything, and my parents had plastic on the car seats.

Now the plastic industry has shifted production to make shields for the front of buses.

Jon won't get this, he was watching Best of Lawrence Welk through the entire Soprano series.:)

My parents covered everything to save the furniture for 'guests'. My siblings and I were not welcome in the Living Room as well. Circa 1956.

It took some doing, but I finally got that Liberty out of my spot at the Keller Campground Compound.

It sure feels good to get back in the saddle.
