What is the deal with this? Some Prevost stay on there for a few days then disappear?? The " no reserve " Prevost seem suspect??? Any thoughts??

You would think the ones with no reserve have an opening bid placed by the seller for the least he would take.

I always wondered about a no reserve auction with a minimum bid. Isn't that the same as a reserve? It could be an oxymoron.

Ya suppose so, just a different angle.

The ones that just disappear; can't a seller pull the plug at any time prior to the closing time for any reason?

Some may not meet expectations, some were just feeling out the market, others who knows.

The seller can remove an auction anytime there are no bids. Also, the seller can put a notice in the auction that the item is for sale locally and end the auction if that happens.
I would rather have a seller put his starting bid at the lowest price he is willing to take rather than wondering what the reserve is. A lower starting bid with a reserve is a less expensive way to run the auction, as the starting amount is part of how the eBay fees are determined.
