Central Vac

We have a central vac and the port you put the hose into in the basment is broken. I connected the wires and covered it so the rest of the ports work but I would like to fix it and there was no literature on this perticular option. We also need bags. The bag compartment is mabye 8 inches square with a small tube inside that goes into the bag. Does Home Depo or LowesSell these or where might I try localy?

Joe, Sounds like you have the Small Wonder central vac system. If so you can google the name and it will give you the website. If memory serves it is now part of the Dirty Devil group. The inlets or valves are typically the standard Broan, Nutone, Beam, Lamb, etc which can be purchase at most electrical wholesale or go to the web and order from a Dale Electric. The bags are still available from Small Wonder, 3 bags for $6.95 approximately. Ken
