Have a 1990 Detroit Diesel Silver 92 engine. Where can I purchase a Pro Driver at? I checked Ebay without luck.
Is the install pretty easy? Looks like I have a Test Port in the aux.air compartment just under the driver side compartment.
What do these usually run $ wise and what type of info do they provide other than miles per gallon?
Thanks,
Tully

Tully,
I'm going to check with a buddy of mine who works at DD. In the meantime, I found this link below.
http://www.johnsontowers.com/?na=performance_parts
Note, I have a Pro Driver DC (which can take an optional data card for the driver), however it shows this unit as a "Optimized Idle". You may want to talk to these people before ordering. I don't believe you want an optimized idle module.

HI Sid,
Actually, you *may* have a ProDriver, and maybe you have the mini-version which is standard on the XL2?
I just found a link to the manual for the ProDriver DC, which is the "extra" unit I have in my bus.
If you read through this, it gives you a great idea of it's capabilities.

Still trying to locate a reasonable source for them.
The remote unit is much more powerful than the mini-pro-driver unit that is in the dashboard on most XL2 units. (maybe newer XL units too)

Thanks Ray,--- I shot an email to see what price is and if it will apply to my year engine/coach.
The Optimizer does not look like something I would want or need.
If you do run into another source for the Pro Drive, please let me know.
Thanks,
Tully

I really like the VM-240, but at $1995.00 I think I will have to bow out on that one.

Tully,
Got a response from my friend. He said go to http://www.ddcsn.com and click on the SERVICE locator.
He suggested contacting dealers listed to get a price.
You DO NOT want the optimized idle, you want the Pro Driver or Pro Driver DC.
