For all those who have a manually adjustable multi-rib serpentine belt on your S60 engine. If you'd like to be able to adjust the tension on your belt, go to NAPA and buy a Kirkit belt tension gauge(KR2). They cost less than $25 and are simple to use. The proper tension using this gauge is 250 lbs for a new belt and 200 lbs for a used belt. Twisting the belt and measurung the deflection etc. are a waste of time. Get the gauge, the piece of mind is worth it. You will need a 15 mm socket and breaker bar to loosen the two hold down bolts and a 9/16 combination wrench to adjust the tension. Do yourself a favor and put antisieze compound on all three.
