Brian stopped by this morning, and we got to see his new Royale. We also had an enjoyable lunch and got to catch up on the latest. The new bus is beautiful. It's clear that it has been taken care of, and it is very nice inside and out. We really like the open feel that the bathroom and bedroom have. The layout makes it seem much larger. Beverly wasn't with Brian, but Paulette enjoyed the tour and ended up in several of the pictures.

I'm glad we got to see Brian and the bus and hope he has a nice, safe, and uneventful trip home. I made a few pictures of the bus. The sun was rather bright, but the pictures should be okay.

Brian, That Bus is a beauty! If I recall corectly the bed configuration is 180 degrees opposite of your other Bus. Let me know if that takes getting use to and tell us all about it when you have time.

Brian, ya dun good.

That's a beauty. It looks like it feels bright and open. I'll be interested in your opinion of the 45 compared to the 40 and how you like the new engine and transmission.

That is as nice as a non Liberty gets. Really a great looking coach. I would also like to hear about the switch from a 40ft ot 45ft caoch.

Brian and Beverly,
NICE BUS! Wow, it is gorgeous. I don't think you will have any trouble adjusting to the extra five feet. I went from a 12' Honda mini-van to a 45 food bus as my primary vehicle, and it only took me about 12,000 to get used to it:-)

Congrats to you both. Safe travels. See you on the road!

Best,

Adam

Brian & Beverly,

That is one of the prettiest Royales that I have seen. I love the interior and different upholstered sofas. Congratulations on a great buy! Hope to see you two at a rally soon.:D

Heehee, leave it to you Tommy!

Brian and Beverly, gorgeous coach....stunning color scheme and the layout is very unique and does have that open feel. All our POG friends have done an excellent job choosing new rides!

B&B's new Royale

Brian and Beverly, you two have impeccable taste, can't wait to see it in person! That is one of the best looking XLV busses Barbara and I have seen period. We hope you have many enjoyable miles in it.

Once again, great choice Brian. Royale has always been known for their cabinet work and their interiors. It's a great find. When you get a chance, how about a picture of the Driver's Dash area.

Thanks to all for the kind words. Thanks especially to Dale for this post (Check's in the mail, Dale). It was great seeing Dale and Paulette on a short lunch stop in Pensacola. After leaving them I boogied on up the road and am overnighting at Camp Walmart in Vicksburg, MS.

My first impression of the bus is it's smoothness and off the line power, wow it's like a sportscar. While the S60 grumbles and rattles at idle, it turns to pure horsepower when romped on. I'll miss the old 40 footer, she taught me a lot about buses and it was fun making the changes and improvements even though it was a very poor investment. The Trukster gets the benefits though and I hope he and Nancy enjoy the old girl as much and Beverly and I did. That said, there won't be much looking back.

The word investment is one that should be banned from use on this site. In fact we should have some means of providing emergency care for anyone thinking that when buying a Prevost conversion they are making an investment.

And can we get an AMEN for the off the line performance of a series 60 compared to the 8V92. That was the biggest single difference between the two (except for the music made by the 8V92).

Wow Brian, nice looking bus!

But, I noticed a tiny speck of dirt on the front bumper....you can see it in the picture that has you wearing the funky 1960's sandals......better get right on the clean up of that smudge!

Looking forward to a personal tour when you get home.

Peter,

It's not the 1960 scandals that stand out. He has to eschew himself of the socks. The "Clothes Police" will lock him up if he continues having such a classy coach and the funky socks.

Now come on, inquiring minds want to know the mispelled word. There is a word as "Eschew" Lok it up in wht JDUB World "Dick" shunairey.
