Want to bring power from my house to coach for shore power. Want to be able to use the 50 amp line.
Do I need have 220 at the source for shore power.
What would I need power wise and amp wise. Will have an electrical person do this.
Was just curious- from my box what type of power I would need and circut breaker size?

I purchased several RV boxes from Jamestown to install power plugs next to my newly poured driveway. The price was right and the quality was excellent. The boxes came with a 50, 30 and 20 amp breakers and plugs mounted. I purchased the surface mount and the pedestal mount.
I would recommend them.
You will need 220 VAC for the 50 amp plug.

Tully, don't let the electrician talk you into just having a 30 amp receptacle. It is cheaper up front, but you will always wish you had 50 amps.
In my bus barn, I have a 50 amp RV plug wired directly into the breaker box. Come in late at night, walk around and plug it into the coach. Good to go without ever opening a bay.
