So here I am, hundreds of miles from anywhere on my way home and we stop near Kansas City at a campground. The guy in the golf cart takes me to site 120, a nice pull through with easy access in and out. I get out to talk to the guy and here's how the conversation went...

Nice bus, does yours have polished and shiny brass pipes
No, I can't afford a Liberty
The guy here last night had polished pipes
It must have been a Liberty, they're pretty nice
The guy said he also had polished slack adjusters
Your shittin me
No really, he said he polished his slack adjusters
Did he have a black Hummer
Ya, that's the guy, do you know him
Hell yes, that's the great anal 1 and he's a legend in his own mind

This is a true story, I laughed my butt off.... the guy was a retired truck driver and knew exactly what a slack adjuster was.:p

The guy was breaking my chops about why they don't put real engines in our coaches. So I accused him of being hung up on Cat Engines which he confirmed. The conversation was going downhill fast so when he saw the COPPER plumbing instead of the normal polished PVC I decided to pull his chain a little and tell him of my polished slack adjusters.
