Hey POGgers,
Still working on my aux air compressor. Can someone ID this for me. It is on the goezoutta side of the compressor, the tubing hooks to the compression fitting. Is it a check valve, or maybe a pressure regulator, or maybe a small dryer?? It was full of a white chalky substance on both the goezinna and goezoutta sides. I cannot blow air through it. DO I NEED THIS IN THE SYSTEM?? Where would I get another one??
Thanks, Ken

It doesn't look like a check valve to me but I bet it is,if you have an industrial pneumatic supplier in your area they should stock check valves.WW grainger or McMaster Carr should have them also.

Did a google on it and found out, otherwise I didn't know.

Thanks for the replies. I googled it also, and it is a check valve. Ordered it online, and it should be here in a few days.

"goezinna and goezoutta sides"
I love it when you talk like that. :)

We often got a lot of bad advice and information. Since I have been "pondering" (southern talk) the mechanical aspects of these buses since the early to mid nineties, the use of the internet as we know it today was not very common. I used WW Grainger, McMaster-Carr and my local truck parts guys to answer a lot of questions.
Today a few minutes at the computer almost always yields and answer to questions.

Before Google I thought the best one was mamma, the mother of all search engines. It's still real good, but if you have google as a default, you seldom need anything else.

Try
www.copernic.com
d/l the free version. It runs your query through multiple search engines all at once and ranks all the results.. Much very powerful.... Windows only, no Mac version ;(
