:)This article is interesting; May issue of RV BUSINESS MAGAZINE

Wholesale shipments of conversion bus shells used in luxury RV's and corporate entertainment units increased 10% in 2007 while overall commercial bus sales declined.
According to 'National Bus Trader' magazine, 309 conversion shells were shipped in 2007 compared to 281 the year before, with all but eight of the conversions being 45 feet long. Conversions accounted for 14.2% of the bus market, up from 11.8% in 2006.
The article goes on to say overall wholesale coach sales , seated and conversions, declined 8.7%. The declines were concentrated in domestic seated coaches.
The best selling seated coaches was the MCI J4500 and the best selling imported seated coach was the Van Hool C2045.

The recording industry has really changed largely because of the ipod/mp3 players, this has forced the bands to perform more live performances. With most of their income from performances and less from CD sales travel has increased for the bands dramatically and so have the number of entertainer shells.I have heard that the big entertainer converters have a huge backlog and also that those that lease entertainer coaches have everything leased. So much for high diesel prices.
