Yes, how do you make soapy water?
Prior to investing in electronic stethoscopes and ultrasonic detectors I would like to master the soapy water.
What is the best combination of soap (type) and water (amount, ratio) to detect those leaks that are detectable by soapy water.

Just use some out of your gray water tank, it is premixed and free!

Some use the bubble solution for children to play with. Ask your wife where to get it.:D

Jim, And the real answer is............ It doesn't matter much. A few drops or so of dish detergent in a spray bottle will do the job. If you shake it and it makes bubbles you've got enough. You won't think it's doing much until it finds a leak. :eek:

I put at least one shot of dish soap into a squirt bottle of Windex. The more soap the thicker and sticker the bubbles. The mixture stays in place better instead of running off.

Well, for four dollars I figured it was best just to get it done. One of the least expensive things ever acquired for this bus.
