I need some help/advice. Anyone have a good financing company for financing a new Prevost? I can not seem to find anyone , who will work with me on this . It seems , no one will get past my credit report. If you own several companies, and have a healthy net worth, it does not seem to mean anything to these people.

Garyde,
Welcome to the Forum. I hope you can achieve your goal as bus ownership is pretty cool.
There was some talk about financing on RV.net - check out this thread.

Try e-RV Loans. The loan ends up being with Bank of America, but the rates were good and you can do the whole thing over the phone. I think they are based in Miami.

Garyde, Welcome. My wife Ellen & I have found that most of the high profile RV loan outfits only lend money if you have 70% down, a late model coach, and a credit score of 1000! The dealers will not do a thing for you except send out your application to 12 different lenders which negatively impacts your overall credit rating. Over the past 5 years we have had 4 different coaches and all the loans have been low interest through local banks.....they seem to value our business. We did use Coastal Finance once with a positive result. They are a national concern based in Virginia Beach, Va. Their client base is mostly very large boats and minimum loan is $50,000. Ken & Ellen

Garyde,
Try Financial Underwriters Network (FUN) at 800-231-4003. They will do an 80% deal with Wachovia. If your going to use a Montana LLC, good luck, there are only a few banks that will do them and the rate is higher.

The go-to guy for $$ on a Prevost is Tom Spirito at Gulfcoast Marine Finance in Clearwater, Florida.
His attitude is, "What does it take to get this deal done?"

Are they credit score driven, or do they have better criteria?

Gary,
Try Kevin Marsh at Recreational Products, aka RV Lending Tree at 1-866-788-7331. We have financed 2 coaches with them and a few from Prevost-Stuff have used them as well. :)
