What kind of oil do most use in the 60 engine? I currently have a few gallons of Rotello 15w-40, but I don't have enough to do the complete change.

Dale,

I use Mobil Delvac 1 5W40 synthetic. I have used it for the last 16 years in my 8V92 and also in this series 60. No problems! Newell recommends it so I use it. It ain't cheap! The best usually isn't.

Dale. Hopefully you Coach came with a Prevost Manual. If not, call Prevost or check on line.

The manual just says 15W-40 with API CG-4 rating. I was just wondering what brand the majority are using.

That's a good question. Of the three or four times i've had the oil changed I've never heard of a Brand.

Rotella Dale, you can't go wrong. Last case I bought was at Walmart.

Buy to the Specification and not to worry about the brand, unless you don't trust the label.

I just got 5 cases of Rotello from Sam's. There are 3 gallons in a case for $27.74, so that is $9.25 a gallon. Delo 400 was a few cents cheaper. Now all I have to do is get Paulette under the bus to change the oil and transmission fluid.
